FCF - Freshman Year Foundations
A Skills Based Workshop Exclusively for Freshman Entering College in Fall 2025
Only 68.2% of college students make it to their 2nd year of college*- This has nothing to do with intelligence or prior academic performance as college presents new environments, challenges, and a need for leveled up self-management that catches many strong students off guard. Through a series of five classes learn the ropes of how to navigate this new world of accelerated academics, new found freedom, and demanding deadlines from experts in the field. Protect your investment and hit the ground running!
Topics will include:
How the College Landscape works and skills needed to succeed
The key practices & mindsets of successful students
Organizational systems to support college rigor
Optimizing a routine for work completion
ADHD, Focus and Attention (even if you don’t have ADHD!)
How to conquer anxiety, avoidance, and increase motivation
Neuroscience & Brain Anatomy to support executive functioning
The basics of the studying cycle for college exams
Collaborative, small groups are the best way to solve the issues that you may face, while showing you that you aren’t alone in being stressed about starting your high school experience.
You will emerge with:
A personalized organization routine for time and tasks
A personalized weekly schedule with your course times, commitments & life management necessities
A personalized academic skills assessment for college
A personalized game-plan and set of strategies for how to be proactive in the college environment
An understanding of accommodations at the college level and how to self-advocate
Relationships with other rising freshmen in the class of 2030!

Length: Five 75 minute sessions
When: 4pm on 7/7 , 7/14, 7/21, 7/28, & 8/4
Location: 1345 NW Wall Street Suite 200
Cost: $450 if enrolled by 6/30, $475 after 7/1
*Scholarships available for select families that qualify.
